Always the fastest wine to sell out at the winery – and true to form, this 2024 (and every other vintage) are sold out already.

Blenheim’s juicy viogniers, crafted by Kirsty Harmon, are joyous and hedonistic, and they can also handle a few years of aging, which makes them fun to watch over the long term (Ornee points to the 2012 as one of his favorite recent vintages).

Great nose of peach and apricot. Little toast. Smooth mouthfeeling. As good as viognier from the northern Rhone ( Condrieu )! Bought the bottle in Virginia. Probably hard to get outside Virginia, and that's a pity!

The perfect flavorful white to sip on while watching someone else work really hard. As I’m tasting flavors of oak, orange blossom, and citrus, I’m also observing my husband working very hard on his graduate- level engineering homework. There are numerous graphs on his computer, and for all I know he is plotting a more efficient way to the moon.
We just found this to be a perfect archetypal Viognier – and not overdone as so many seem to be.
(A sidenote: the Battle of Blenheim was what made the Duke of Marlborough a Duke. Winston Churchill renounced this hereditary title so he could be in the House of Commons. But he kept the house!)
