Like a black hole, the 2024 Sign of the Times pulls you into the glass with its inky, opaque core and cardinal rim. Intense notes of ripe blackcurrant, mocha, baking chocolate, black plum and tarragon evolve as the wine continues to open. Layered and textured on the palate, alluding to the ageability of the wine, hints of more blackcurrant, black pepper and anise abound. Structured throughout the palate, the chewy tannins eventually give way to a lengthy, pleasant finish.
