It’s rare to see a quality Russian River Pinot Noir like this for 430…let alone under $20.
No reviews yet on this 2024, but Decanter rated the 2023 vintage outstanding, saying:
Medium-bodied with creamy dark berry fruit and delicate cedar spices, the wine also features firmer tannins that provide a touch of grip, finishing with a fresh, coniferous note.
This is just an incredibly delicious and satisfying Pinot Noir at a price you just don’t see for Russian River beauties like this.
And while the pedigree is certainly important here, what’s more important is that pedigree is reflected in this wine’s sheer flavor and class. There are many, many Russian River Pinots that sell for $30 or even $50 that simply don’t taste as good as this.
