Extraordinary and unique wine. Like a great Blanc de Noirs or even Rosé Champagne without bubbles.
Hauck says:
This dry Blanc de Noir is made of healthy and aromatic Pinot Noir grapes. It has a lovely, very light salmon -pink colour. The bouquet is aromatic, characterized by aromas of forest strawberries with a touch of herbal and a very subtle hint of smokiness. On the palate, this Blanc de Noir is medium - bodied, refreshing, crisp and still quite balanced and creamy.
Again, aromas of summer fruit such as raspberry and peach dominate. A very juicy, interesting wine with a lively, well integrated acidity structure.
The importer says this has been Hauck’s biggest crowd favorite.
