Wine Orbit 93:
Brightly fruited and immediately appealing on the nose with kiwifruit, crunchy apple, rockmelon, and lemon zest aromas. It's juicy and lively in the mouth, displaying youthful fruit intensity with finely pitched acidity, making it splendidly drinkable. At its best: now to 2028.
And 91 from Wine Align:
The nose shows dried apple with hay, ginger spice, and mint with grapefruit and mineral tones and hints of grape skin. Complex and sophisticated aromas that gives the wine a classy feel. The juicy palate is firm with lively mouthwatering grapefruit acidity and midweight richness. Good focus, fresh and clean with very good length with a peppermint tone to the finish. Try with seafood, roasted poultry and goat cheese dishes.
Everything I come to expect from a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.
Outstanding, best ever and a “Best Buy” for the Wine Enthusiast:
Summery scents of lemongrass, basil, bell pepper and fuzzy white peach are heady and evocative. The wine slips and slides in the mouth along a rail of high-speed acidity. All up, it's a crisp and harmonious bottling that nicely scratches the Marlborough Savvy B itch.
Also best ever and outstanding for Suckling:
Perfumed and fresh with a floral, herbaceous lift, offering passion fruit, gooseberries and a touch of elderflowers. Sharp, zippy and very refreshing with light to medium body and a crunchy finish.
The 2024 vintage of this was one of our most popular New Zealand Sauvignons ever, but this 2025 eclipses it.
