A really quite delicious and beautifully balanced Washington Chardonnay (which I enjoyed last night with steamer clams). This also enjoys a very strong 3.9 average rating on Vivino, which has it at $18.
Here’s one of their reviews:
Yum! Nose and palate alike are reminiscent of a floral bouquet and a summer fruit salad! I’m no friendly of “oaky California Chards” and this wine is a pleasant counterpoint to such varieties. Today, I wanted a white that wasn’t a citrus and acid bomb (like my beloved NZ Sauvignon Blancs) and this Chardonnay fits the bill perfectly. Crisp but smooth with balanced acidity and robust fruit notes. Wow! Nice, subtle minerals, too.
We’ve had pretty good luck with canned wines lately, and this is one of the best.
