Decanter, which rates this outstanding and calls it a great alternative to Champagne, says:
Pear drop and apple sherbet aromas on the nose. This is lively and refreshing from the start with tiny bubbles and a nice core of lemon juice and rind giving a rounder, richer lemon taste than you get from just having high acidity.
Made from Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, this would challenge many a good Blanc de Blancs Champagne. It’s that elegant and refined.
