An old tale known in the Kochi prefecture on the southern island of Shikoku where the brewery is located recounts a Samurai during the time of the Shogun that would drink enough to get a whale drunk. This tokubestu ("special brew") sake comes out clean and crisp, bone dry with pretty decent acidity. The coolest part about it is that you can drink it cold out of the fridge or indirectly heat it for an elevated experience.
