We were lucky to get this impossible-to-find, 150-case production 2013 MTGA Napa Merlot from Todd Anderson’s (Anderson Conn Valley) son Mike. The ONLY older vintage of this rare cult Merlot available ANYWHERE else is a single bottle of 2012 in California for $79.
The only store to have (1 bottle) of the outstanding 2012 vintage sells it for $79. And as good as that wine is, it’s no 2013.
From a superb vineyard in St. Helena, this is definitely a “Cabernet lover’s Merlot.”
