A surprisingly substantial Pinot Noir for the money, from the mountains of eastern Sonoma. Aged in French oak for 14 months, yet not at all oaky.
Again, this would be an outstanding Pinot Noir at its normal price of $18.99. And in fact, the winery sold out of it at that price.
Really smooth and silky. The class of the vineyards here shines through.
