96 points from Alex Casella, who says:
Vivid purple with raspberry hue, brimming with bright red and black berries that jump out of the glass along with nuanced fruit, vanilla bean oil, fresh violets, dark chocolate and well-groomed oak. Fine grain tannins and silky mouthfeel coat the palate while pure warm berries linger on the finish. This oozes sophistication and teeters finely between abundance and refinement in this well-made wine. Straight up top quality from a world class producer in Napa Valley and an amazing vintage to boot.
Of course, if you re planning on poisoning somebody or being poisoned a la Diana Rigg, no wine could be more appropriate. Gotta do it in a goblet, though.
