Best vintage ever for the Wine Enthusiast, which says:
This blend of two-thirds Syrah and one-third Cabernet Sauvignon is earthy, smoky and black peppery in a very good way, as it reveals funky nuances from the potent aromas through flavors that are also ripe and full of black-fruit notes, to the lingering spicy finish. There aren't many pure Syrahs from the Foothills as good as this blend.
Best vintage ever on CellarTracker, too, with reviews like this:
In hommage to Tervillion. And that is interesting and tasty stuff. Need more than just a taste. 10 years of bottle age and in a great spot.
Who else in California does wines like this anymore? Or especially at prices like this?
A huge favorite at top restaurants, as you might imagine.
