A blend of two top vineyards: the famed Hirsch (near Fort Ross) and Harmony Land (Occidental). Made at another cult winery, Papapietro, where partner David Low is a winemaker.
Here s a pretty dead-on description from CellarTracker:
Darker red color. Alc 13.1% Aromas of berries and spice. Like biting into juicy fresh picked dark cherries and raspberry along with spice and a range of other hard to peg flavors. Extremely fresh, vibrant and weightlessly lifted. Excellent fruit purity, concentration and finesse. This is a great example of the Sonoma coast's potential for excellent Pinot Noir and its widely available for less that $40. Love it and need to acquire more. Drank quite a bit of the 2012 and somehow forgot to try the '13 & '14 but find myself digging this '15 just like the '12.
