A very rare Recioto made from white grapes (dried on straw mats). In both quality and style, this remarkable sweet wine reminds me of a Hermitage Vin de Paille…except it’s literally a tenth the price!
Made from extremely low yields (half those of Vin Santo), this is wonderfully concentrated but also satiny smooth and complex sweet wine.
Just extraordinary!
