Wine Enthusiast 95 – top Lecciaia Brunello ever:

The nose is a first date in the '60s, drinking cherry cola and vanilla smoothies and trying not to spill on new leather car seats. The indulgent palate deepens into a more mature blend of orange and dark chocolate, with strident tannins and bustling acid creating a hot, peppery undertone.

Granted, a bit of a dumb review…but Vinous does better:

A brooding mix of red plum, brown spice and crushed rocks is nicely offset by a flourish of violet florals as the 2018 Brunello di Montalcino opens in the glass. This washes across the palate with silky textures, as rose-tinged red fruits are enlivened by a core of vibrant acidity. The 2018 finishes potent and long, with nuances of tangerine contrasting tart wild berries, as hints of grippy tannin frame this Brunello nicely.

And Suckling:

This has a pretty nose of peaches, plum stones, sandalwood, orange zest and white truffles. Fresh, fine and elegant, with a medium body and tight-grained tannins. Delicious peach and hints of vanilla at the end. Approachable already. Drink or hold.

And Michael Godel:

Rich and mouth-filling Brunello here from La Lecciaia, deeper of fruit as compared to many light and transparent examples out of the 2018 vintage. The tendency here is to exult the virtues of Brunello that invites all to the table, for consumers representative to a broad range of stylistic preferences.

All of these critics found this top 2018 to be outstanding.
