2018 Laurent & Celine Notton Pinot Noir Bourgogne Chitry

Frankly, we couldn’t believe how full, rich, dark, deep and substantial this is. (We expected it to be light – and in red Burgundy terms, it’s anything but.)

And it’s serious.

If we tasted this blind, we could easily mistake it for one of the better examples of Gevrey or Nuits or Pommard.

Not only the most substantial and complete Bourgogne Rouge we’ve sold, but the best red Burgundy at this price point in the market…and by a good margin.
