Decanter rates this the top Notton Vaucoupin ever, saying:
Good density on the palate, with the concentration expected for a premier cru. Sunny character to the fruit, but there is an underlying tension from the shallow soils above the core bedrock, which gives this appealing wine plenty of dynamic force. Cleansing acidity and a saline character add freshness to the finish. A fine example of Vaucoupin.

Quite some aromatic depth – it needs a bit of air to clean up – but it does – there’s fine clarity here and growing florals too. Wider, lithe muscle, extra intensity. Yes – this is a beauty – simply an excellent 1er! Just a little more saline and agrume complexity to finish. A super finish
Needless to say, you just don’t see premier cru Chablis this good (and this “classic”) at a price like this anymore…ever.
