From the very best part of the best vineyard in Bué (a steep hillside site facing perfectly south), the commune that makes the most ethereal and for many archetypal Sancerres. Roger explains:

Bright straw colour. Pure and intense nose, fine aromatics of fresh peach, ripe citrus, almond, lemongrass and some herbal notes. Very good bite and tension on the palate, salivating and crisp with elegant young fruit flavours a flinty/stony presence, very long and persistent finish. pure, precise and potent.

Now you can spend more on a Sancerre (we have magnums of Vatan’s highly sought Clos la Neore at $600!)…but I doubt you’ll find one finer than this.
