Croix Estate is Venge’s passion project – an historic Russian River vineyard and winery he bought to make world class Pinot Noir in particular. But it came with an incredible vineyard of 1904 Zinfandel vines surrounding the winery.
This super-rare Zin is one to compete with Martinelli’s famed Jackass Hill. It sells almost entirely to Venge’s mailing list – and the one store that had it on Wine-Searcher yesterday at $67.99 has apparently sold it all now.
