With vineyards planted in 1974, Foris is the pioneering winery in the Rogue River Valley.

There are no press reviews on this (clearly epic) 2019 yet, so here are the reviews from Vinous and the Wine Enthusiast on 2018, just to give you an idea on the style of these darker, denser and fuller Rogue River Pinot Noirs.

Vinous:

Deep, shimmering magenta. Expressive red and blue fruit aromas take on a smoky nuance with air. Silky and energetic on the palate, showing good depth to the gently sweet black raspberry, mulberry and spicecake flavors. Supple tannins lend shape to a long, smooth finish that echoes the red fruit note.

Wine Enthusiast (Editor’s Choice):

Lovely aromatics introduce a wine loaded with pretty cherry fruit and dappled with cinnamon. More scents conjure up sandalwood and light toast, and the elegance and detail throughout are rarely found in a wine at this price point.

Not just Oregon’s greatest Pinot Noir values, but maybe America’s.
