The Giuliani estate had the opportunity to acquire this plot with an atypical terroir. It is with patience and passion, we have been able to re-work this vine and thus reveal its full potential..
The old Grenaches blooming on sandy soil, red sandstone and limestone pebbles give a wine with a ruby-purple color. An atypical nose combining Morello cherries and spices, floral notes. The palate is quite dense and round on the attack, a hint of fat and a certain saline freshness appear on the finish. The different containers used for the aging of this cuvée (new/old barrels and terracotta amphorae) bring great complexity to the wine and allow the purity of the Grenache to be expressed. At the end of the mouth, hints of Morello cherry persist.
Truly incredible stuff…and available nowhere else.
