From the winery:
The 2019 vintage hits all the right notes thanks to a stunning ripening year. Not as hot as 2018 or 2020, the wine is more elegant as a result. The warmer years bring more black fruit, but in 2019 the wine is back to the blueberry, red cherry and hints of dark plum. The palate is inviting and well-balanced, exuding flavors of blueberries, blackberry, with a deep mocha finish. This wine in such a great vintage, will age beautifully for many years.
93 points, James Suckling:
Attractive and flavorful red with blackcurrants and crushed blackberries as well as cocoa, cedar and ground cloves. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Polished and refined with seamless texture and a lingering finish. Better after 2025.
