This very rare vintage Blanc de Noirs is the top of their range.
It’s vinified and aged 50% in barrels, and bottles with a dosage of 3 g/l, so still “Extra Brut.”
Incredibly rich, powerful and imposing, but withy the breathtaking precision and complexity (and sheer class) all of these Champagnes so abundantly display.
It really is almost laughable what we can sell these for.
(But then the last time I bought Selosse, in the 1990 vintage, I paid $50. That wine now goes for over $4000!)
