This is actually a double “alliance” wine. That is, it’s a collaboration between Chehalem and Stoller and it’s a blend of 58% California Pinot Noir with 42% from Oregon.
The winery says:
Aromas of ripe red raspberry and Rainier strawberry float out of the glass. The palate is soft with notes of bright cherry, plush tannins, and an undertone of moderately toasted barrels that keeps the wine round and satisfying.
And a reasonable 13.5% alcohol, too.
