From the winery:
A rustic take on bright cherry meets cedar, accented by notes of cracked white pepper and sweet black licorice. Deep and electric violet visual, holds plush concentration in the middle. Spice box tannin brings the wine sturdiness and finesse. Compact, complex, and compelling.
94 points from the Wine Enthusiast:
Like many who thought they'd bought a special clone of Mourvèdre, winemaker Zac Wasserman accidentally made his first batches of Graciano. But he's embraced the grape in serious ways. This bottling begins with black plum, black raspberry and purple-flower aromas on a fascinatingly intense nose. The palate adds boysenberry and lavender, with a firm structure.
