The winery explains:
LOLA Rosé of Pinot Noir is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on our younger vines in Mendocino and Sonoma Coast. The grapes were picked slightly under-ripe and lightly crushed by foot, then pressed off the skins after 8 hours. We do add a small amount of skins and stems to the press juice during fermentation which adds a bit more vibrancy and structure to the finished wine. The 2022 LOLA Rose of Pinot Noir is vibrant, with a bright pink color and aromas of cherry and guava. Its bright acidity and crispness on the palate make it a perfect wine for warm summer days, and a wonderful pairing to vegetables and seafood.
