The top EnRoute Pinot of recent years on CellarTracker. But I think this Vivino review kind of says it all:

Karen MacNeil mentions early in The Wine Bible several characteristics of wine which might stand out as perhaps not the most desirable, and notes how easy it becomes to portray when those elements are clearly overbalanced against one another. From there, she describes the inverse; some wines display such beauty and elegance they leave commentators literally speechless. This, I believe, is one of those. It is the best pinot noir I have tasted to date, and of especially high value for the money. (And that’s at $60!)

Or how about this one?

For me, this is the definition of what Pinot Noir should be. Most of the Pinot noir out there is absolute crap. This is freaking fantastic. Hits you right over the head from the beginning with cherry cola, a hint of orange peel, menthol, raspberry, maybe even a little grapefruit. More round, and less of a bite, than some of the Santa Rita Hills style Pinot that I have been drinking recently (e.g., Handwritten). This is why I drink wine, to find a bottle like this. Outrageously good, and reasonably priced.

Or this:

Very smooth, earthy flavor, like quartz sweetness. Changed my pinot noir concepts.

“Quartz sweetness” puts it very well: this is both wonderfully flavorful and wonderfully precise. The very epitome of high-quality Pinot Noir.

In Russian River Pinot Noir terms, this is every bit as thrilling as Far Niente’s $150 Napa Cabernet. Indeed, it’s the very essence of what top Russian River Pinot Noirs can be.
