Vinepair (who Highly Recommends” this at $28 and ranked this in its “Top 50 Wines of the Year) says:
Rosés made from Pinot Noir are gaining ever more prominence in America and this bottle proves just how great the results can be. Its nose oozes ripe strawberries while the palate delivers nuanced texture. Subtle tannic grip is matched by chalky mineral notes and lively acidity, before the wonderful fruit character from the nose reappears on the finish. Average price: $28.
And even Britain’s Decanter loved it:
Ripe cherries and strawberries with a touch of sweet floral aromatics. The palate is loaded with bright fruit and spice, ripe strawberries, rhubarb and sweet raspberries. There is freshness and nice ripeness and dollops of red fruit.
It's also only 12.5% alcohol, with a wonderfully low pH of 3.19. (Pretty incredible for such a warm, ripe and exceptional vintage.)
Simply put, one of Oregon’s finest rosés – and surely the only one of this quality at anywhere near this price.
What’s more, it will please Rosé lovers and Pinot Noir fans equally.
