Tegernseerhof is the only other owner than Knoll in this top site, and Knoll’s version (also great) sells for over $100.
Falstaff 97:
Light greenish yellow, silver reflections. Nuances of fresh yellow apple, a touch of Golden Delicious, fine tobacco nuances. Juicy, good complexity, elegant, fine ripe tropical fruit, well-integrated acidity, a delicate style, already easy to drink, a full-bodied and accessible food wine.
Though from their oldest vines – and enormously concentrated in 2022 – this still manages to maintain the precision and finesse which Tegernseerhof is most famous for.
As much as we love the Kellerberg, this one may be even more exciting.
And here’s their best Gruner Veltliner ever, from a very special site they share with Knoll.
