This is essentially a blend of all of Vajra’s young vines in Barolo plus Dolcetto, Barbera, Freisa and even Pinot Noir.
94 points from Gary Walsh at Winefront:
Spice, dark cherry, hazelnut, strawberry -all the things! – and for what’s essentially a ‘drinking wine’, it has layers of complexity. Cool ‘mineral’ acidity, juicy mixed fruit flavour, some savoury elements and a fine chalky tannin finish. So good.
He actually rates it equal to Vajra’s top-rated Barolo Albe ever, the exquisite 2019! And above the much more expensive Langhe Nebbiolo.
