93 points, Vinous:
The 2023 Riesling Binger Kirchberg Kabinett blends vivid flint with crushed nettle on the nose, immediately promising thrill. Iron oxide and petrichor appear next. On the palate, these salty notions wrap themselves around tart apple flesh that is colored with Seville orange and citrus leaf. Gentle sweetness boosts that salty orange notion and tingles on this light-footed, immensely aromatic frame. This thrills with 46 g/L of sweetness and 8.9 g/L of acidity. (Medium) Drink 2024 - 2045
17/20, Jancis Robinson:
Tingling, petillant, convex with fruit, the sweetness effortlessly contained within the contours of vibrant flavour and acidity. Ripe and fresh-off-the-tree apricots and mirabelles, pinging with golden juice. Baked apples bringing softness and a sift of spice. Great balance! Really alive.
From the winery (of the 2022 vintage):
A vibrant summer wine! A mineral-based Risling with a charming interplay of sweet and acidic that creates great tension! Aromas of peach and cassis are embedded in its wild flint mineral.
