“Primes” in French means “bonuses,” and this sort of Sancerre pedigree and quality for only $15 is certainly a bonus for wine lovers.
No press yet on this superb 2024, but here is Decanter on the 2022:
This wine has subtle floral aromatics lifted by a smoky lemon note and a streak of wet slate. The palate is lean and bright, with flashes of grilled lemon peel, smoky flint, and notes of cut grass. The finish is lifted by bright acidity and a touch of white pepper.
This could easily pass for a good village-level Sancerre, but at half the price.
