We haven’t had the wonderful Champagnes from Triolet for years, and only have 43 bottles of this one now.
Triolet grows some of the most delicious Chardonnay in Champagne, and this rosé contains an unusually high 85% of it, with 15% older Pinot.
Vinous has twice rated it outstanding, saying:
Vivid orange-pink. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh strawberry, floral oils, musky rhubarb and buttery brioche.
Offers an array of mineral-laced red fruit flavors complemented by a touch of tarragon. Finishes smooth and silky, with a sexy rose oil nuance.
And Burghound agrees, rating it not only outstanding, but Triolet’s top Champagne, and saying:
A discreet and reserved nose of strawberry and raspberry offers good complexity and range with better mid-palate concentration on the clean, crisp and utterly delicious flavors that also possess reasonably good depth with the same fine effervescence and lingering finish that is refreshing. In the best sense of the term, you feel like drinking this.

A really good champagne that deserves to be found and sampled. We had this next to a Billecart- Salmon NV Rose among 6 other champagnes on NYE and this was a close 2nd to that WOTN. Well balanced acidity and a slightly more creamy texture. Mild strawberry mid palette and a wonderful fresh fruit finish.
This is about as delicious and rewarding as Rosé Champagne gets…and certainly at only $40.
