Quite a charming and red fruited nose, some chocolate and spicy undertones with hints of game. Silky and full bodied. (They get both how pure and beautiful AND how unusually rich and ripe this is, too.)
And Jancis Robinson agrees:
Tasted blind. Brimming with dark fruits, plum and cigar box. The palate is juicy and has good fruit weight, there is good freshness beneath the fruit core. The tannins are present but supple and add good structure. Ripe sweet fruits on the finish.
