The dark label of our Black Aces bottle represents the strength, determination, and perseverance of the Black Aces who silently support each NHL team, always ready to jump in at a moment’s notice for the team’s greater good. This wine behind the label is a blend of several world-class Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards from Oakville and Rutherford. When they all come together in synergy, effortlessly blending the expected with the unexpected, they produce a balanced win that everyone can celebrate.
As we finalized the blend for our 2023 Black Aces, it was obvious — it was a
wine of power and subtlety, a complexity that unfolded with every taste, which inspired us to create a label that would tell a story about what the #23 meant to us. His greatness, like that of this fine vintage, was something that will only grow more powerful as time passes. A symbol of longevity, of consistency, and of evolution, something that we strive for with each wine we create at Vineyard 36.
